Within the exhibition Marvelous Correspondences, Subtle Resemblances, an online exhibition talk will be held with the moderation of Uras Kızıl, exhibition artists Alp İşmen, Yüksel Dal and the curator Nergis Abiyeva, will take place on March 20th Saturday, at 14.00.  The event will be simultaneously broadcast live on Zoom and Youtube.

The exhibition named after Umberto Eco's novel Foucoult's Pendulum, traces not what is immediately visible and comprehensible at first glance, but what is noticed as it gets deeper in its layers. Both Alp İşmen and Yüksel Dal prefer to practice with pencil and paper and research the possibilities of ink on paper. Both artists treat ink as a field of experience rather than an ordinary material. As the viewer will immediately grasp, the "line" stands out in the works in the exhibition.The exhibition “Marvelous correspondences, subtle resemblances” focuses on visual and gestural relations that are not equal to each other but correspond to each other.
