Human as a social creature lives its own life in an organized society since they come into existence. From primitive to modern time every era has its own set of social organizations. In these organizations, there has been always a power center even though they have different qualifications. In the meantime, the power center, which considered necessarily as a control mechanism and a developer for these organizations created by the masses, tends to shape the society among its own desires and interests.

Power centers, religious or political, frequently use written, verbal and innovative media as a way to accomplish these tends. They use artistic activities by holding onto them as a powerful factor to direct and convince people on where to look, what to be seen or not to be seen for extending and consolidating their wealth. Since ages, visual materials are easier to understand than the written ones and that makes these materials essential for power centers. For that matter, art-like in the fairytales- could change the existing reality and even create a new one if needed. The people who hold the power in their hands, often tend to distort, alter and hide the realty using the ‘as if’ character of arts.
With ‘’Külkedisi ve Beş Hececiler” Mixer invites the audience to experience “as if” power of arts and also to discover the link between the reality and what is seen.
